Our PE day is on a Friday. Please can earrings be removed on this day. 

Homework

 

Reading- children are advised to read for at least 10 minutes, 5 times a week from their school reading book. In your child’s reading diary, you can record their school reading books as well as any other reading your child has done at home.

Spelling Shed- children can log onto their account to play spelling games.

NumBots- children are expected to engage with this online platform on a weekly basis.

What have we been up to?

 

 Year 1 enjoyed a fantastic History Off the Page day and were fully immersed from start to finish. In the morning, the children enjoyed exploring a range of toys from different periods in history, comparing how toys have changed over time and handling replicas with great curiosity and enthusiasm. The afternoon was just as exciting, as the children became toy makers themselves, creating their own traditional toys such as flick books. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that brought history to life and the children thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
